Camellia Ding is the epitome of a seasoned athlete as a multi-year club volleyball player and powerhouse attacker on the Poly varsity volleyball team for the past four years. She has competed on the national level with various club teams, underscoring the prestigious San Gabriel Elite Volleyball club, and she has received multiple Prep League Teams Honors and the Captains Award at Poly. As a pin hitter and the varsity co-captain, Ding stands out through her motivational pep talks before games and determined personality. On senior night, a poster for her read “Cam Ding has Wings,” attesting to Ding’s ability to spring into the air before smashing the ball down as the team’s top scorer. Ding will be missed greatly on and off the court. The Poly community wishes her the best as she majors in business and political economy while playing Division III volleyball at NYU this fall.
