Senior volleyball star Luka Brusselaers has committed to Bard College where he will continue playing volleyball as a middle blocker in Division III. Brusselaers hopes to continue his success from this year with Poly’s boys varsity volleyball team, which finished with a 14-4 overall record and 11-0 record in league, largely a product of his efforts. Discussing Brusselaers’s departure, sophomore teammate Finn Thompson shared, “As a leader, he was really inspiring to the team. His effort always influenced others to push harder and stay focused on the task at hand. Our team is really going to miss his contributions.” As Brusselaers’s athletic career at Poly comes to an end, the Poly community wishes Luka the best of luck at Bard, and we can’t wait to see where his talents will take him next.
