Slicing through the water with power and rhythm, Julia Pisano has made waves at Poly, each stroke marking a new milestone in her swimming tenure. As co-captain of Poly’s girls swim team this year, Pisano has led with excellence and determination. She broke Poly’s school record in the 100m freestyle just this past month, earning a time of 52.35 seconds. Committed to Davidson College, Pisano will continue to excel in both her athletic and academic pursuits. When asked what she is looking forward to the most next year, Pisano noted that she’s excited to become close with the Davidson swim team and meet lots of new people. While her time at Poly is ending, Pisano has a bright future ahead of her.
