The girls volleyball team’s Oct. 8 game against league rival Mayfield honored an important tradition and gave ongoing support to a good cause. Poly’s yearly Dig Pink game raises money and awareness for breast cancer treatment and research. And although Poly dropped the game 3-1, they left with their heads high and spirits soaring knowing they raised much needed awareness and money. Junior player Camellia Ding says, “It was a tough loss, but we’re glad to share the cause in such a special way and uphold this meaningful tradition.” The following photos highlight the enthusiasm, dedication, and sportsmanship displayed by Poly.
