On Friday, Jan. 31, Panther fans packed the Flintridge Prep gym, ready to see Poly’s varsity basketball team take on their rivals in a long-anticipated game. Right from the tipoff, Poly jumped ahead early and didn’t look back, maintaining a constant lead as they cruised to a 55-45 victory. Senior guard Justyce Icart led the Panthers to the win with a 23-point performance, draining seven three-pointers along the way. Ultimately, this victory was one of the deciding factors in crowning the Panthers co-league champions.
