Football is an intense sport that requires immense willpower, toughness and mental clarity. Throughout JP Bryson’s athletic journey at Poly, he has consistently demonstrated these characteristics. Bryson has always found a way to show off his fierce nature on the field, acting as a sturdy lineman to raise the team’s floor for success. His unwavering determination makes Bryson an exceptional athlete and standout student. For example, Bryson’s JV basketball team voted him “best teammate” as a freshman and titled him MVP the following year. Bryson will attend Pitzer College this fall, following his passions for English and the gridiron as a new addition to the Pomona-Pitzer football team. A primary asset to Poly’s basketball and football teams, Bryson will continue to bring the same grit and resilience to his new team. We are overjoyed to see what Bryson does at the next level, both physically and academically, and we are rooting for him every step of the way.
