When the ball is headed straight for the floor, it’s Caroline “CJ” Holdsworth who rewrites its destiny with her lightning-fast reflexes and steady control. Holdsworth joined the girls varsity volleyball team as a libero when she was a freshman, and throughout her four years of high school, she has been the foundation of the team, securing three second places and one first place in the Prep League. In her senior year, she served as captain of the team. Holdsworth has committed to play volleyball and study cognitive science at Cornell University next fall, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in her athletic and academic journey. Although we will miss Holdsworth very much, the Poly community will be cheering her on in her next steps.
